PLANNING GUIDE

What to define before an office fit-out

General guidance. Its application depends on the property and work; it does not replace a technical assessment.

01

Define use and starting conditions

An empty space and an existing office require different surveys. Gather plans, handover conditions and available documentation. Define intended capacity, meetings, focused work, reception and support.

02

Clarify interfaces

Confirm who assesses power, data, climate systems, acoustics and applicable requirements. Separate building work, services, furniture and equipment. Identify landlord, occupier and specialist responsibilities.

03

Agree criteria before construction

Define an approvable scope with inclusions, exclusions and decisions to approve. Discuss phases, access, supplies and final checks. Technical and administrative requirements depend on the space and need qualified assessment.
